The Russell Family has a strong tradition as Fairbanksans. Married in 1970, Darrell and Margaret Russell have called Fairbanks home since 1969 and 1956, respectively. Their three children – Cathy (Reggie), Deana (Mark) and Paul (Lisa) - now have Alaskan families of their own, and the Russell’s are proud grandparents of two grandsons and two granddaughters.
A key part of that tradition has always been community involvement. For many years, Darrell and Margaret have been active supporters and leaders in United Way of the Tanana Valley, Junior Achievement, Fairbanks Young Life, the Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce, 1st Assembly of God Church and both youth and adult sports organizations, to name just a few.

They are both successful in the Fairbanks business community - Darrell as a licensed General Contractor and Master Finish Craftsman, and Margaret in automotive executive management since 1978.
The Russell’s merged their craftsman and management skills together and started Denali Builders, Inc. in 1996. By putting innovation, integrity and performance into every aspect of their business, they have turned a modest, home-based business into an award-winning company whose name is synonymous with quality and value. With a vision to introduce a planned-community of luxury townhomes and condominiums targeted and designed to meet the changing lifestyles of Fairbanksans – Darrell and Margaret are now proud to introduce West Pointe to Interior homebuyers.
